Fox News’ Tucker Carlson has been unafraid to tangle with members of the radical left on his program, even if it risks making he, his guest and his viewers uncomfortable. Thankfully, Tucker’s openness to spar with these figures has exposed their dangerous rhetoric and agenda and has had dire consequences for some of them.
Recently, Tucker had as a guest Michael Isaacson, who is a professor at John Jay College, which is a school within the City University of New York system. John Jay College is focused on criminal justice, and many of its graduates end up going to work in the law enforcement field.
Professor Isaacson clearly feels conflicted by the fact that he is an extreme leftist who sympathizes with Black Lives Matter and Antifa but who also teaches future policemen and women for a living. On August 23rd, Professor Isaacson made the mistake of letting his feelings be known, writing on his Twitter account, “Some of ya’ll might think it sucks being an anti-fascist teaching at John Jay College but I think it’s a privilege to teach future dead cops.”
After appearing on Carlson’s program, officials learned about what Michael said, and it came back to haunt him. Stated John Jay College president Karol Mason, “I am appalled that anyone associated with John Jay, with our proud history of supporting law enforcement authorities, would suggest that violence against police is ever acceptable.”
President Mason then took action against Professot Isaacson, and put out a statement saying about Michael, “Out of concern for the safety of our students, faculty and staff, we are immediately placing the adjunct on administrative leave as we continue to review this matter.” Are you glad that this extremist was relieved of his teaching post after he made these comments?
