Donald Trump has been a man who has always spoken the truth, even before he was President. Once he was a guest on “Fox and Friends” and he was asked about Al Sharpton’s role in stirring racial tensions and endangering police departments that serve communities of color. Trump told his honest opinion, that Al Sharpton is a professional “con man” who gets away with “murder”:
“I live in New York and I know Al Sharpton very well. I’ve dealt with him many times over the years and he is a guy who I don’t believe really believes what he’s saying…he pretends he cares deeply.”
Trump discussed Al Sharpton’s actions shortly after two NYPD police officers were executed in their patrol car. His reaction was that the situation made him sick. After Sharpton complained about receiving death threats himself, Trump said that he was looking to cause “backlash” that would lead to “a very violent thing and a…dangerous thing for a lot of people.”
Of course, Trump was right. Sharpton’s intent might have been to cause some race problems, because as long as there are those kind of problems, he will have a job, massive nationwide support, and a huge paycheck.
